Today I’m finding myself inspired by anything vacation related, but I especially love these deeply saturated colors from a photo I took of an Italian beach. Seeing this palette in a wedding would be so cheerful, fun and happy!

What do you think about bridal boudoir photos? Would you do them? Obviously if you have a photographer as incredible as Elizabeth Messina you would probably be able to get over any embarrassment or discomfort you may have with the idea. I love the idea of classic and stylish styling like these that are incredibly intimate without even the slightest hint of raunch.

With pastels being so big this spring I have to say that mint is by far my favorite one. It’s cool and looks so good against a tan. I love that it can have either a simplistic modern feel, or a retro one. At the very least makes us crave a beach vacation!

Do you remember in this post last fall how I “called” mini pineapple upside down cakes being the next trend…well I was right! Martha herself featured them in the spring issue of Martha Stewart Weddings. Pick up a copy and see what other predicted trends make an appearance.
