Our latest shoot was featured on the Ruffled Blog today, check it out here! I was lucky enough to work with Delbarr Moradi again, whose images captured my designs perfectly. I was inspired by Mexican scenery and how it varies so widely from dry and arid to lush and bright. I transitioned that adoration into the design of our shoot by using our farm tables (ready to be rented in the Bay Area now!) with their rich warm wood, antique spools, and a caramel colored hide and then juxtaposing it against the bright cigar boxes, patterned plates, peonies, ranunculus and vintage Mexican textiles.

Leigh of Crimson Horticulture Rarities designed the most gorgeous floral arrangements. One of my favorites was what she and our hair stylist, Yesenia, created in our bride’s hair. My inspiration was Frida Kahlo and modernizing her classic look.

The shoot was a blast and I was so lucky to work with such an amazing vendors, and in such an amazing location, Dona Tomas!
