This past weekend I had the extreme pleasure of designing the decor for Blogshop (an AMAZING, blow your mind photoshop class for bloggers) in Portland! A and I were in Oregon for some prep for this summer’s crazy busy wedding season so this worked out perfectly. I was also able to help coordinate the two days of classes as well. It was so much fun to be on the other side of the class this time and getting to watch the students learn and build confidence in their photoshop skills! Not to mention how fun it is to work with Angela and Bri (who will be doing a post on her blog Design Love Fest with much better photos soon!).
I made gold dipped vases with simple floral arrangements juxtaposing each other. White peonies in the larger vases and billy buttons with blue thistles in the smaller ones. I also made this fun string art sign for the class too!
The building we were in was an amazing old grain warehouse with individual artists studios within them, over forty artists in the building! We were in The Fontana Studios which was perfect for Blogshop. I would love to go back; they’re having an open house on June 9th that you should check out if you’ll be in Portland then!
I love, love, love Blogshop and how no matter what avenue I’m involved with I always feel so inspired at the end! The Blogshop Video class next?!
